MyRatings turns the things you try into a next pick that says why. Your ratings stay private by default.

What we collect

Ratings, notes, saved items, and why chips you enter or approve.
Account information (email, name) when you sign up or sign in.
Receipt or product capture data you explicitly submit (including browser capture).
Optional shopping offers, negotiation messages, and payment hold metadata you initiate after you rate.
Technical logs required to operate the service (auth, API errors, audit events).

How we use data

Power your next pick and why for your account.
Run private buyer offers, seller outreach, and agent workflows you approve.
Improve capture quality and product UX.
Meet legal, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.

We do not sell your ratings or why to advertisers or data brokers.

Sharing

Sellers see only what you approve in an offer or negotiation. Connected agents and MCP apps receive scoped, revocable access you grant. Infrastructure providers (hosting, email, payments) process data under contract and only as needed to deliver the service.

Your choices

Revoke agent or MCP access in Settings.
Delete items and ratings from the app.
Sign out on any device or extension.
Contact support@myratings.ai for account deletion requests.

Chrome extension — MyRatings Shopping Capture

The MyRatings Shopping Capture extension is for signed-in buyers who shop on retailer websites in Chrome. It sends structured product data to MyRatings only when you click Capture or approve an agent capture on the active tab.

Extension data

Page URL, canonical URL, title, price, image, and visible product attributes.
OAuth tokens scoped to buyer:capture:write, stored in Chrome extension storage.
Optional link to an agent shopping mission you connect from MyRatings web mission control.

We do not collect passwords, payment card numbers, or full page HTML by default through the extension.

Extension permissions

Permission	Why
`activeTab`	Run capture on the tab you are viewing when you click Capture.
`scripting`	Inject the shared capture runtime on retailer pages.
`storage`	Persist OAuth session and last capture summary locally.
`identity`	OAuth PKCE sign-in via Chrome identity API.
Host access (`https:///`)	Retailer sites you shop on. MyRatings domains are excluded from content scripts.

Sign out from the extension popup anytime. Uninstalling the extension removes local extension storage. Agent channel messages from myratings.ai use short-lived signed tokens verified by the extension before any action runs.

Changes

We will update this page when product behavior changes. Material changes to the extension will also be reflected in the Chrome Web Store listing.
